So I found and downloaded a free writing program to help me keep track of the size and progress of Blood Prodigy.
It’s super handy because I can copy and paste everything I’ve written into the program and it will let me keep chapters and scenes separate while still doing a total word count for both the chapter and the whole book.
So here’s some fun stats:
Total book word count is at 18,401.
Chapter 3, which I’m currently working on, is almost the same size as chapter 1 already - even though I’m not even finished with the first out of three scenes to go in it.
And out of a minimum desired word count of 50,000 I’m already 37% of the way to my minimum word goal for the whole entire book. At chapter 3. Out of 15 outlined chapters planned. Soooo this book is going to be a brick.
I plan to run some errands in a little bit, then make coffee when I get home and spend the rest of the evening writing. My goal for the night is 1600 words so that my total word count will be an even 20,000. Which would put me at 40% minimum word goal completion.
