I care a lot about you but I never know what to do other than send words of encouragement and support whenever I can.
I really and truly do see that, in fact I knew you would both read and comment on this post because I recognize that you do care for me and I don’t even think I can express in words how much that means to me, especially after all of these years. I adore you and I care a lot about you, too. I’m sorry I’m so bad about remembering to text people during diurnal hours. I don’t fully wake up until everyone else is going to bed, which is terribly inconvenient for everyone involved in my life (including me). We should catch up soon.
If it makes you feel any better I confronted the person this was about and told them exactly how I felt and my concerns that I’d assigned more significance to our relationship than was really there, and they assured me that this was not the case and that they felt the same way towards me and that nothing had been romanticized or misinterpreted at all - which I am immensely relieved about. We haven’t finished working through it because she was half asleep (again with my being nocturnal), so it isn’t fully resolved but I do feel a whole lot better about it.
