So my crazy neighbor started blaring death metal around 2am. Even if the judge hadn’t told me to call the cops with any future noise complaints, I still certainly don’t feel comfortable going over there. So I waited my customary 15mins before calling the police, during which time it just got worse. He kept opening his door and letting the music echo into the breezeway, and then he kept slamming his door shut. He did this probably 4-5 times. Then he let out a wordless yell just before the cop got here. The officer who arrived actually heard him yelling. I gave him my injunction paperwork and let him know that it had been overturned in court but that the judge told me I shouldn’t speak with him and that I needed to call the police if he started blaring his music again, I also gave him the case numbers for the previous 2 times I had to call the cops on him. Then he went to go talk to him.
Of course, the music was off by then. It always is.
