Confront the issue.
Well, you’ve known me 7 years now man, so you gotta know that that was the first thing I did. I’m not a non-confrontational person. I speak my mind, always. The problem was that the situation was multi-faceted and complicated and subjective to perspective, and I had a really big decision to make.
What I was looking for was someone I trusted to discuss it with me, not for someone to blindly offer generic advice on a situation they know nothing about. Thankfully, Suzie called me back and we discussed it and I felt less crazy and made some decisions and was ready to handle the situation after that, and I mended two friendships in the same day (which I think is rather miraculous).
I’m honestly a bit insulted that you would think not confronting an issue would ever be my problem. I am an aggressively honest and direct person, and you know that.
